ReTargeting using Adwords is easy to do and it is one of the cheapest ways to get more sales on your website. In this video, I’m going to show you how to do it in a few easy steps in just 4 minutes.

1. Set up G-Tag
Set up your G-Tag or the Google remarketing Ad by going to Tools, Audience Manager. Go down to Audience sources, click on details under Google Ads tag and you would see the tag set up instructions. Copy the code on the Global Site Tag.
Go to Shopify, select online store, click Customize, Actions and then Edit Code, Go to theme.liquid, paste the code at the bottom of the slash body. Click save. Do the same thing on another area by going to Setting, Check Out, scroll down below and paste the same code on the Additional Scripts box.

2. Create Display Ads
Go back to Google Ads then go to Campaign, click New Campaign, select Display Ads, select Sales, select Standard Display Campaign, put in your website URL then click continue. Assign a campaign name and select the appropriate options. I think $2 is enough for the budget while you can put in $0.5 for the group bid just because I don’t want to spend that much right now.

3. Define Audience
This is the important part. Under audiences while working on the display ads, select How they have interacted with your business, choose website visitors, and then Select All visitors system defined.

4. Upload Images
Click Upload Display Ads and Upload images. You can check out the dimensions to use by clicking on the supported sizes and format.

5. Product Page as final URL
Make sure to assign your product page as your final URL not your Homepage URL.

Click on Create Campaign at the end then you are all set up! If you follow all these steps then you should have at least a basic Remarketing campaign using Google.
