Types of Google Ads Audiences:

Demographics – You can start your targeting by simply targeting people based on their age, gender, household income, and parental status.

Affinity Audiences – Affinity audiences will represent broader groups of people who generally have an interest in something. For example, you can reach people who are avid investors, people who have an interest in DIY, and people who generally visit fast food restaurants. They are useful for branding and product consideration campaigns when you are trying to drive more awareness to your business.

Custom Affinity Audiences – If you can’t find the right Affinity Audience for your business, you can create custom affinity audiences that use information such as the websites people visit, search terms people would be more likely to use, apps people use, and more to create broad interest groups that you can target in your campaigns.
