Why the element text is not updated in the DOM by adding elements to a list using innerHTML?

I am testing whether I can use innerHTML to add elements to the list. The elements are added, but the elements do not appear in the DOM. And I can not find where the exception is. I have tested other elements, and found it works.
Here is the code:
var list = document.getElementById(‘list’);

var select = document.getElementById(‘select’);
select.onchange = function() {
var option = select.selectedIndex;
var item = document.getElementById(‘item’);
list.innerHTML = item.innerHTML;
console.log(list); = ‘block’;
item.innerHTML = ‘item’ + option + ‘

demo is:

I found the answer,
item.innerHTML = ‘item’ + option + ‘

should be
item.innerHTML += ‘item’ + option + ‘

the ”
” is used for a new line.

Best video editing software to cross-compile on FreeBSD for Raspberry Pi

I would like to put together a video with pictures taken on my Raspberry Pi (and FreeBSD 10) – ideally using cross-compilation for the Pi. I’m not entirely clear on how it works, but basically I think it might be possible to make the Raspberry Pi dance like a Windows (or Linux) box, and I would like to put together a video like that.
My thoughts were to use a Linux box, but so far I’ve not had much success with that. Are there any standard cross-compilation solutions for this? I would just like to put together a simple video, and I’m ideally looking for something that isn’t too “clunky” or “over-complicated”.

rpibow, a tool that’s packaged in the base system of FreeBSD, can be used to do a lot of things, including video editing. For example:
rpibow -f /mnt/pi-video-fpga/foo.avi
