  1. Hey, thanks for the video. Quick question: I added quite a few placements but adwords still goes ahead and places my ad in front of other random videos that are in no way connected to my placement. How can I turn that off and tell Adwords to exclusively place my ad in front of the videos or channels i specified?

  2. Hey Guys a couple of thing you need to watch out for. 1. Make sure you mark "In-Stream" only. Decrease you mobile bid and do not use multiple targeting methods in the same campaign.

  3. Great Video! I have two questions:
    1. What if instead of targeting specific videos, we target YouTube channels? What kind of impact would that have?
    2. The software that you mentioned in the video which helps find video placements, can we try it out?
    Looking forward to your response!

  4. Thanks for the video! I have a couple of questions for you.
    1) How do you copy placements from one ad group to another. Or if they are in the same campaign will the automatically use the same placements.
    2) I tried to make a placement focused campaign that targeted several youtube channels. It hasn't shown any results. Do you know why that could be?
    3) I'm running another advertisement that focuses on video placements…but I'm only getting like 4 impressions/hr. I have over 300 video placements. I just don't understand it…. 🙁

(BTW,I am only running bumper advertisements)

    Thanks! 🙂

  5. Hey man I'm thinking of running ads but I want to use them to get more views and direct them to my channel. Do you know what to put in the URLs for this? It says only 35 characters but my channel URL has more than 35 and I can't apply for a custom URL that's shorter until I get 100 subs (only have 42 right now)

  6. What about adding in the whole YouTube channel for the placement? You say you spend a lot of time finding the individual videos for the placement, but wouldn't adding the channel itself save more time? If you know the channel allows instream video ads does it matter if you pick the videos individually? Thanks in advance!

  7. I tried to promote my channel(not this) through youtube ad in adwords. But I have issues regarding the final url and the display url. Both has to match so I put the link of the video i promote in both urls but ads are getting disapproved. Should we put in https in display?

  8. Thanks a lot, I've done just as you explained. The only problem is that Google took around 90% of the budget under "Other Placements" and got me no results. The channel placements I've chosen got me a good 25% view rate. I've paused the campaign until I figure out how to restrict the placements. Can you help me with that?
